Wind and solar are faster, cheaper and better for Indiana.

Gov. Braun wants you to believe fossil fuels and nuclear are our only options. That’s just not true.

The fastest-growing, most affordable sources of energy today are wind and solar—and they work right here in Indiana.

Why wind and solar work for Hoosiers:

• They’re the cheapest new sources of energy—even before the tax credits.
• They’re fast to deploy, especially compared to gas plants or nuclear reactors.
• They will reduce long-term costs and protect ratepayers from volatile fuel prices.
• They work well with storage, giving us reliable power even when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing.
• They create Indiana jobs in construction, installation and maintenance—especially in rural communities.
  

We don’t need to choose between reliability and affordability. We can have both—if our leaders stop clinging to outdated, expensive energy systems.

It’s time for a smarter path forward—one that puts Hoosier ratepayers, not utilities and data centers, first.
